School Board Hears Presentations On G&T Program and Technology
The Livingston Board of Education heard three presentations from staff members on Monday, March 8.
The first of three presentations to the Board was the revised identification matrix for the Gifted and Talented (G&T) program. Mary Oates, assistant superintendent, commented that the teachers felt the previous matrix used to select students for the G&T program did not identify all of the students possessing Renzulli’s three factors of gifted behavior: ability, creativity and task commitment.
