Montclair State University students, faculty, and staff were asked: "What do you see when you look in the mirror?" The responses were funny, sad, shocking, and everything in between. Using diverse mediums, these self-proclaimed statements were put onto mirrors of different sizes, shapes and ages; some are cracked and flawed, some seem perfect. The results are known as the Mirror Project.
Pieces of the Mirror Project will be on display in the Livingston Public Library and at Town Center (next to Silverman’s) from Wednesday, May 20, through Wednesday, June 3. Youth Appreciation Week will include a gala opening at Town Center on May 20 from 6 to 9 p.m. as well as access to the Library exhibit during Saturday’s Family Festival at the Oval on May 23.
