The owner of a Livingston salon reported a break-in and burglary at the business on Sunday morning, May 30.
According to Livingston police, the Mid-Town Salon at 171 South Livingston Avenue was entered sometime between the evening of Saturday, May 29, and the early morning of Sunday, May 30.
A landscaper noticed that the front door glass had been smashed and notified the owner, who then called police.
Upon their arrival, police officers found that the salon's doors had been smashed and propped open. The front register area had been ransacked, and papers were scattered around. The cash register was open, and $750 was reported missing.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
