Livingston Bowlers Defeat Nutley In Crossover American Division Match

The Livingston Lancer bowlers competed in three matches during the last week. Two were in Super Essex Conference (SEC) Colonial Division play at Hanover Lanes and the Lancers took 12 of 14 points to maintain their grip on first place. The squad also took seven points from the Nutley Raiders in interleague play at Brunswick Zone Lanes in Belleville.

The Super Essex Conference is made up of three divisions: Colonial, Liberty, and American. This time, the Lancers, the 2011 first place team in the Colonial division, were matched against last year’s American Division first place team, the Nutley Raiders, on January 24. Since this crossover match was on the "home turf" of the American Division, the teams bowled 4-on-4, instead of 5-on-5, as in normal Colonial play.
