Livingston, NJ's very own Social Network

Representatives of Team Landroids in Livingston served as volunteers at the 2010 FIRST World Festival Championship, held at the Georgia World Congress Center and Georgia Dome, in Atlanta, Georgia recently. More than 10,000 students, ages nine to 18, took more than 500 big and small robots from around the world to compete in this international robotics tournament in three divisions: FIRST LEGO League (FLL), FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) and FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC).

Landroids member, Karlin Yeh, an eighth grade volunteer from Heritage Middle School, juggled multiple responsibilities during the four-day event. Yeh was the FLL volunteer team queuer, a young mentor of the Livingston High School FTC team Lancers, and an FTC robot hardware inspector, as well as the FLL one person stand-in team at the World Festival.
