Board of Education Discusses Funding Uncertainty Until Governor Makes March 16 Budget Address

The uncertainty of school funding was discussed by members of the Board of Education on Monday evening. Board members Sheri Goldberg and Stan Graboski had each attended meetings with acting commissioner of education Bret Schundler and reported to the Board on what had transpired.

Goldberg noted that she attended the Garden State Coalition of Schools (GSCS) meeting at Summit Middle School the previous Tuesday evening. Schundler was present to discuss what is ahead for New Jersey schools.
