Livingston residents were given the opportunity on Tuesday evening to provide feedback on a resolution proposed by the Board of Education to move its election of school board members from April to November. The resolution would also eliminate the public vote on the annual school budget if it is within the statutory two per cent cap.
The Board was set to vote on the issue at its meeting last Monday, January 23. However, members decided to hold off on the decision to give the public a chance to voice its opinions on the matter. Few residents showed up at the meeting, but those who were present expressed their opinions and posed questions to the Board.
