MoFiddles presents "Someone Say Something"

When Mo arrived here from Texas to manage Menzel Violins folks warned her at her Father's funeral that the waters of the violin business were filled with sharks. She was shocked to learn that beneath the seemingly genteel surface of this world lurked hidden teacher kickbacks, collusion, and fraud. Mo resolved from the beginning to do ethical and honest business.

Mo wondered if it wouldn't be possible to find here the friendly sense of community she had known in Texas. She began to think of reaching out to all players of traditional music on bowed and fretted instruments. Strains of bluegrass, celtic, oldtime and jazz were calling to Mo! Here was a group that needed good instruments at fair prices who were tired of being made to feel small when they didn't have a small fortune to spend.

Mo also wanted to reach out to returning adult players and adult beginners who needed a venue to play together. The gears were turning and the idea for MoFiddles came to her in a dream! Now it's a dream being realized. MoFiddles offers sales, repair, restoration, lessons, workshops, free jam sessions, good fellowship and good food. Find a new haven and meet Mo and the boys!
