The Livingston Health Department oversees an extremely diverse and complex department, whose programs and services touch everyone in the community. From birth certificates, marriage transcripts and even dog licenses -- that's just the beginning!

Environmental Health & Safety Services --
Restaurants, food stores, food vehicles, and vending machines are regularly inspected and rated by our Health Department’s Environmental Health Division.

Informed and Healthy Services --
Here are the goals of the Township’s Division of Nursing for Livingston’s residents. Where Janet Traettino supervises a wide range of programs and services, including:

• blood pressure and blood work screenings
• vision, bone density, and stroke assessments
• a communicable disease monitoring program
• health fairs and creating wellness programs
