"As a boy, I remember visiting my father at his Little Deli. He would sit me on the counter and tell me to close my eyes and open my mouth. At that point he would feed me a freshly cut, steaming slice of pastrami and say "kid, you just tasted a piece of heaven."


If there is one thing that my dad taught me, it was to strive for nothing less than perfection. Here at Irving's we do our very best to bring you the finest quality and highest level of service. From our tasty sandwiches to our mouth-watering desserts, we hope that you'll agree that the hardest thing at Irving's is deciding what to eat.


Come on in, order up, and let your taste buds be the judge. As the youngest member of our crew, my outspoken granddaughter says, Irving's is the place that puts a smile on your face!

A long-time diner and supporter, from the grand opening forward. Besides great food and huge portions, the staff is friendly and helpful as are the owners. Plus, they are big supporters of Livingston. All in all, this is the place to meet and eat! I look forward to seeing you all there!

I am originally from Livingston and return once in a while to my roots. My father, from Philadelphia used to talk about how he use to get pickels and a pretzel with mustard for $.05
My friend Marc G. introduced me to Irvings and I introduced my kids this summer to Irvings pickles with mustard. Hope some day they will pass on the tradition. Yum, Yum, Eatem up.
