Join Team 622 in memory of those of who the battle, but are not forgotten!
The number 622 represents June 22, 2008, which is the date my friend’s mother Lorraine lost her battle against lung cancer at the young age of 50. Thanks to the generosity of many in 2009, Team 622 raised more than $8,000!! In 2010, the team objectives are to recruit as many team members as possible, and attempt to raise $20,000!! This year, I will be attempting to complete the 70 mile bike ride in just my second year of riding.
The Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF) inspires and empowers people affected by cancer. The LAF believes that unity is strength, knowledge is power, and attitude is everything.
